Bitcoin, Ethereum and other major coins traded sharply lower Thursday evening as the global cryptocurrency market cap fell 8.7% to $886.54 billion.

Bitcoin and Ethereum traded higher at press time on Wednesday evening as the global cryptocurrency market cap rose 4% to $974.2 billion.

Bitcoin and Ethereum traded in the red on Thursday evening, as the global cryptocurrency market cap remained nearly flat at $1.2 trillion at press time. 

Major cryptocurrencies reversed their upwards course Wednesday evening as the global cryptocurrency market cap shrank 1.8% to $1.2 trillion at press time.

Bitcoin spiked on Monday evening, printing its first green weekly candle in 10 weeks, as the global cryptocurrency market cap rose 3.3% to $1.3 trillion at press time.

Bitcoin remained above the $31,000 level, while Ethereum slipped into the red as the global cryptocurrency market cap slipped 0.55% to $1.31 trillion at press time on Tuesday evening. ​​

Bitcoin and other major digital coins were in the green at press time, as the global cryptocurrency market cap increased 2.7% to $1.3 trillion.

Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) traded 0.7% lower at $0.09 over 24 hours leading up to early Monday morning.  DOGE traded lower as major coins slipped into the red at press time with the global cryptocurrency market cap declining 0.8% to $1.3 trillion at press time. 

Bitcoin and Ethereum hovered just under key psychological levels, as the global cryptocurrency market cap declined 2.2% to $1.2 trillion at press time.

Bitcoin and Ethereum were in the green at press time, with the apex coin trading above the key $30,000 psychological level, as the global cryptocurrency market cap rose 3.4% to $1.4 trillion.

Bitcoin traded higher and hovered just under the psychologically important $40,000 mark on Wednesday evening as the global cryptocurrency market cap shot up 5.5% to $1.8 trillion.
