A PARCEL delivery company has been fined £850,000 after a man was crushed to death by a 2.4 tonne vehicle at a depot in North Lanarkshire.

David Kennedy, 43, was working at the firm's depot at Eurocentral near Motherwell, Lanarkshire, when the horror incident took place.

The firm pled guilty to breaching health and safety laws at Hamilton Sheriff Court today following the death of 43-year-old David Kennedy at the Eurocentral sorting centre.
