Charlotte Crosby splashes out on £790 baby blanket in lavish addition to daughter's nursery

Charlotte Crosby has been showing off some luxurious additions to her daughter’s nursery - including a blanket that costs almost £800.

The former Geordie Shore star became a mam for the first time earlier this month, welcoming a baby girl with boyfriend Jake Ankers. Charlotte, 32, said that she was enjoying her time in “the biggest baby bubble” as she gushed about motherhood on Instagram.

The new mam admitted that she was in “absolute bliss” in an emotional video, saying that the experience was “magical” and comparing it to a “fairytale”. Charlotte also showed off a first look at her daughter’s nursery - and she had spared no expense on the décor, OK! reports .

One of Charlotte’s snaps showed a Hermes Avalon baby blanket draped over the side of the baby’s cot, made of Merino wool and cashmere that has a price tag of £790. The star added that the cot had been gifted to her by premium children’s furniture store Stokke.

Charlotte posted the pictures ahead of Jake’s birthday, vowing to spoil her boyfriend rotten and “make his first birthday as a dad so special”. She shared some snapshots of the celebrations, including giant balloons, a stunning cake, and Jake’s first ‘dad’ birthday card.

Charlotte added on Instagram in a sweet tribute to her boyfriend: “He's looking after us so well and we are so so so so lucky! I'm still recovering so it's just gunna be a day of family and love for us.”

It’s been celebrations all round for the family recently, with Charlotte’s mum Letitia finally getting to meet her new granddaughter after a tough delay due to a potential risk amid her cancer treatment. Letitia said that the experience had been “beyond amazing”, after previously admitting that not being able to see the baby was “killing me”.
