It was announced on Wednesday at the livery launch of the A424 Hypercar that the #35 machine will be crewed by Paul-Loup Chatin, Charles Milesi and Ferdinand Habsburg, with the #36 driven by Nicolas Lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere and sportscar rookie Mick Schumacher. 

Schumacher will join existing Alpine drivers Nicolas Lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere and Charles Milesi, plus new recruits Ferdinand Habsburg and Paul-Loup Chatin, in its six-strong roster for 2024.

Kamui Kobayashi was quickest initially in the #7 Toyota GR010 HYBRID Le Mans Hypercar and then improved to a 1m36.363s to give him a margin of just under two tenths over Antonio Fuoco in the #50 Ferrari 499P LMH.
