With two days left for the commencement of yatra as first batch to leave from here on June 30, the administration has established 33 accommodation centres across the district while ‘Radio Frequency Identification’ (RFID) tags will be issued at the registration centres. The Union home ministry is expected to undertake a final security review of the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra on July 1 in Jammu and Kashmir with all the stakeholders.

Lt General Upendra Dwivedi, Northern Army Commander reviewed the ongoing preparations for the Amarnath Yatra scheduled to commence from July 1 for a duration of two months, said an official statement. Read further on Dynamite News:
