Anna Univ. officials are using drones to map Cyclone Michaung's destruction in Chennai. Data collected can be used to prevent future flooding. Drones have mapped marshlands, Velachery, and North Chennai, and the data will be useful. Drones can only carry 10-15kg, so helicopters are used to distribute food.
