VFS Global may soon launch a product called ‘Study in India’ to encourage international students to pursue higher education in the country, CEO Zubin Karkaria said.
CEO of VFS Global, Zubin Karkaria, says, "One category that we are looking at, which is growing, is students. Many international students, for various reasons, are looking at India as a destination for their studies, given what is happening in the world today...We may soon launch a product called 'Study in India', through which we will encourage students from around the world who feel that they are unable to afford studying in another country or obtain a visa for their preferred destination. India has some of the best technical and engineering institutes, and there is a huge opportunity for the country to attract students. Once a student arrives, their parents may visit as well. The student then becomes an ambassador for the country, and their friends may follow..."
