Zombies actor Carla Jeffery dies aged 33

  • Disney Channel actor Carla Jeffery, best known for playing cheerleader Bree in the Zombies franchise, has died at the age of 33.
  • Her agent Carla Alexander confirmed she passed away on 1 September 2026, though no cause of death was provided.
  • The statement shared on social media described her as “a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room”.
  • Jeffery made her screen debut in the 2006 comedy Phat Girlz and featured in television shows including iCarly , Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up! and Scream Queens.
  • She played Bree in three Zombies films between 2018 and 2022, later voicing the character in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series in 2024.
