Adults with generalized myasthenia gravis who take Zilbrysq will soon have a second way to give themselves their daily dose. The FDA approved a once-daily autoinjector version of the drug, which delivers a preset dose when pressed against the skin, drugmaker UCB announced on Oct. 16.
The autoinjector will not reach pharmacies right away. UCB expects it to become commercially available in the first quarter of 2027. Until then, patients will continue using the existing prefilled syringe.
