Hollywood star Zendaya has clarified that "many people were fooled" by fabricated AI-generated images purporting to show her wedding to actor Tom Holland, amid persistent speculation that the couple has already tied the knot.
The rumours intensified after her stylist, Law Roach, reportedly suggested their nuptials had taken place.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel’s US late-night talk show, the 29-year-old actress directly addressed the circulating images and marriage claims. When asked about recent headlines, she quipped: "Really? I haven’t seen any of them."
She then elaborated on the AI photos: "Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous’. And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’."
Further fuelling the speculation, Zendaya was recently photographed wearing a bridal white dress and a gold band on her left hand at the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week.
Arriving at the Louvre, Zendaya debuted a chic new dark bob haircut. She wore a dramatic white shirt with a long pointed collar, a voluminous white bubble skirt, black belt, and stilettos. Crucially, a gold band was visible on her finger, worn beneath her glittering engagement ring.

The couple, who first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, have largely kept their romance private, confirming their relationship in November 2021 and getting engaged last year.
This sighting follows claims made last week by her stylist, Law Roach, who suggested the couple had already tied the knot.
Roach, who accompanied Zendaya, had previously told Access Hollywood: "The wedding has already happened. You missed it." When asked "Is that true?", he replied with a laugh: "It’s very true."
They are set to reunite on screen later this year in their fourth superhero film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Speaking about the franchise, Zendaya told Kimmel: "It’s such a huge part of our story, obviously. We grew up making those films, and it’s such a privilege to be able to do them. I know Tom cares so much about the role and doing it, and he’s just the best Spider-Man ever."
They are also slated to co-star in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in 2026.
