The Chicago Bulls love to play spoiler when it comes to snapping an opponent’s winning streak.
In back-to-back games, the Bulls have snapped a 12-game winning streak by the Nets and a 10-game streak by the 76ers, coming in Friday night’s 126-112 victory.
Zach LaVine scored 41 points on 11-of-13 shooting from downtown on Friday and spoke on the Bulls’ potential after the victory vs. 76ers.
“At our best, we saw how good we were last year,” LaVine said. “We were the number one team in the East. At our best, we’re one of the best teams in the league.”
The Bulls have played their best basketball of the season as of late, as they sit as the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-21 record. After losing four-straight in mid-December, Chicago has won seven of their last 10 games.
If the playoffs started today, the Bulls would have earned a play-in spot but with their up-and-down play this season, anything goes with this team.
