Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Monday that defensive end Trey Hendrickson and wide receiver Tee Higgins are considered day-to-day with injuries.
Hendrickson is a new addition to upcoming injury reports after an MRI confirmed he suffered a hyperextended knee during the Week 10 loss to the Houston Texans.
Normally, a day-to-day designation for a player might be a good sign, but as Taylor went on to point out, that’s not necessarily the case here. After all, the Bengals play the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, giving the players limited time to recover, let alone rehab injuries.
We’ll have to see if Hendrickson can give it a go on Thursday, but it’s at least good news considering the scary-looking injury could have been much worse.
