Zac Efron recently made a public appearance at the star-studded amfAR Gala during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, just weeks after a scary swimming pool incident that led to a hospital visit. The actor, known for his roles in '17 Again' and 'High School Musical,' looked well and in good spirits at the event, sporting black sunglasses and a sleek, all-black outfit.

During the gala, Efron was seen mingling with fellow celebrities like Richard Gere and Kate Beckinsale, and even posed for photos with them. The event also featured performances by Kelly Rowland and Rumer Willis, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.

The actor's public appearance marked his first since the incident in Ibiza, Spain, where he reportedly experienced a minor swimming mishap. Efron was found in a pool at a villa, having dove too deep and hit his chest on the bottom, causing him to ingest water into his lungs. Despite showing signs of distress, he was taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure and discharged the next morning.

Assuring his fans of his well-being, Efron shared a shirtless workout photo on Instagram with the caption 'Happy and healthy,' thanking everyone for their well wishes. Shortly after, he was spotted in Miami and later at a mansion in Biscayne Bay, appearing to be in good condition and without any visible signs of injury.
