NEW DELHI: Yuzvendra Chahal delivered a masterclass in leg-spin bowling just a day before the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, taking 4 for 9 in Haryana's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Manipur in Mumbai. The performance was a crucial statement from the experienced spinner, who had been under scrutiny following lackluster Ranji Trophy performances.
Chahal's spell helped Haryana bowl out Manipur for a mere 86 runs in 19.1 overs, showcasing his ability to dominate in the shortest format. The timing of the performance could not have been better, as IPL franchises prepare for the two-day auction beginning November 24 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
