Chahal recently posted a cryptic message on his Instagram story, further fuelling discussion.
“Hard work spotlights the character of people. You know your journey. You know your pain. You know what all you have done to reach here. The world knows. You stand tall. You have worked with all your sweat to make your father and your mother proud. Keep standing tall like a proud son always,” he wrote in the Instagram story.
Rumours of a potential divorce gained traction when the couple reportedly unfollowed each other on social media platforms.
Unnamed sources close to the couple have suggested that "divorce is inevitable" due to irreconcilable differences.
Chahal and Dhanashree's engagement took place on August 8, 2020. The couple subsequently married in a private ceremony in Gurgaon on December 22. Dhanashree is a YouTuber, dentist, and choreographer. She has also appeared on the reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa."
Dhanashree has previously used social media to publicly support Chahal, particularly concerning his selection for national cricket teams.
