How hard could it be to make $1 million if you had a whole year to do it? For most people, it takes a lifetime to build up that much wealth, and some don’t make it even close. But for a millionaire who already knew what it took to be wealthy, it became a question worth testing.
In 2020, YouTuber Mike Black decided to find out. He gave up his home, car, and livelihood and started his “Million Dollar Comeback with $0”, hoping to prove that anyone could become a millionaire within a year.
Black started by finding free furniture on Craigslist and reselling it on Facebook Marketplace, slowly building his first income while documenting the entire challenge online.
