Popular YouTuber Dream has announced he is going back to wearing his iconic white, smiley cartoon mask following comments from trolls over his looks. The Minecraft gamer, who boasts of 31.6 million subscribers on YouTube, updated fans of his decision over the weekend after first revealing his face late last year.
For many years, the 23-year-old kept his identity hidden, only ever being seen wearing his mask. When the YouTuber finally took off the mask in October, he gripped the internet by sharing his true self as millions tuned in to watch remove his disguise.
However, as handsome as many said Dream looks, there were numerous trolls who were mean about his appearance. In the comment section, plenty posted negative remarks and sadly made fun of him, with the video being downvoted by thousands.
