In nine years Logan Paul will be able to run for US presidency and the YouTube boxer is confident he would be a good leader.
Paul, 26, rose to internet fame as a 17-year-old when he released videos on the now-defunct video-sharing service Vine.
His success carried over to YouTube where he has totalled over seven billion views on his channels and has over 30 million subscribers.
Paul was one of the first YouTubers to crossover to boxing when he fought British internet star KSI in a white-collar match four years ago.
'The Maverick' has since competed in a rematch with KSI and an exhibition bout with ring legend Floyd Mayweather, with both events selling over one million pay-per-view buys.
And Paul thinks the US needs a new President who is more authentic and creative.
“I’m 26 and I’ll be eligible to run for president when I’m 35," Paul said on ' The MMA Hour '.
"So that gives me nine more years to become the best version of myself possible and to learn as much as I can about people, culture, society, where we fall short and where we are strong.
“I just think I’ll be a good leader one day and I think the presidential spot needs a fresh take.
“I think the country could use a person who is a little bit more nuanced, more innovative and authentic because I think a lot of politicians fall short.
“Personally I have trouble watching because I know that you are reading off a teleprompter and this speech was written for you by a campaign manager and I’m not like that.”
The 26-year-old has previously outlined his plans to become President, stating he will run for leadership in the 2032 campaign.
In an episode of his podcast 'Impaulsive' from 2020, Paul guaranteed he would be President before he dies and backed up his recent comments by stating he would be a good leader.

And Paul thinks his massive platform allows people to see him for what he is, something that isn't the case with many political leaders today.
"Part of the biggest blessing about this brand that I’ve built is that you either love or hate me for exactly who I am - there’s no smoke or mirrors," he continued.
“I’m me, Logan, and you accept that as truth or deny and ignore me, which is completely fine either way.
“I think there’s a lot of power in being authentic and I think it’s a possibility and something that I could see myself wanting to do at that age.
“Who knows, it might happen and I’ve got big goals and I’ve said crazier s***."
Paul seemingly retired from boxing after launching a new energy drink with KSI last month, but he has since hinted at a return against Brazilian celebrity Whindersson.
