: Shivamogga district unit of Youth Congress, on Thursday, submitted a complaint with Jayanagar police in Shivamogga against Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, who gave a controversial statement over the murder reported in Bengaluru recently.
A team of Yough Congress workers led by district president H.P. Girish met the police inspector and submitted the complaint and requested him to register it. The party alleged that the Home Minister’s statement intended to disturb communal harmony and affect the law and order situation in the State. Later he withdrew the statement and admitted that he committed a mistake. The police should register a complaint against him and take action against him, the workers said.
