Your guide to London Fashion Week (9-12 June)
No, it’s not September already. But, yes, there is another London Fashion Week about to kick off. Formerly the London Collection Men’s slot, the now co-ed, hybrid event takes place between 9 and 12 June. Smaller in scale that the February and September schedules, there’s still plenty to get excited about. The University of Westminster, the University of East London and Ravensbourne will be presenting collections from its students, so you can earmark the fashion stars of the future. SMR Days, the brand beloved by those with a healthy air miles balance, will show its first presentation, joining the likes of Saul Nash, Justin Cassin and Qasimi’s incubator programme Qasimi Rising. Plus a special collaboration between Daniel W Fletcher and Huntsman will be revealed on — where else? — Savile Row. Look out too for announcement of the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund winner (AGR, Bianca Saunders, Bleue Burnham, Paria Farzaneh and Wales Bonner are in the running) and the launch of a unisex collaboration between Browns and Crenshaw Skate Club, powered by concept retail series Farfetch Beat. Plus, proof the pub quiz is officially à la mode: a Newgen 30 Pub Quiz is happening. Pork scratchings at the ready. London Fashion Week, 9-12 June (londonfashionweek.co.uk)
