Young star Mary Fowler and her Manchester City teammate Alanna Kennedy have joined the Matildas in camp ahead of Saturday's international against Canada.
The UK-based stars were joined by Sydney striker Princess Ibini on Tuesday as the Matildas continue preparations ahead of the match at Suncorp Stadium.
Fowler's arrival in her home state is a boost for local fans with the 19-year-old emerging as one of the stars of women's football.
Boasting seven goals in 24 appearances for Australia since debuting as a 15-year-old, Fowler recently joined big guns City from French club Montpellier.
Both Fowler and defender Kennedy enjoyed light sessions first up with the striker enjoying the opportunity to shake out the legs following almost 24 hours of travel.
"I feel fresh. I slept all the way on both my flights and I'm buzzing right now," Fowler said.
"It's nice to be back and my family's going to come over and watch me.
"Even just to be with the girls (Matildas), it's been a while since I've been in camp. I think for quite a few of us as well. It's nice to be back together."
Saturday's match starts at 2.45pm while the teams clash again on Tuesday next week at the new Allianz Stadium (7.40pm kick-off).
