A schoolgirl who tragically died after being hit by a van has been named as Lexi McDavid.
The young girl, aged 12, died after being struck by a Mercedes van as she got off a bus on June 7.
Emergency services were rushed to the scene on Princess Drive, Liverpool, at approximately 3.30pm, and Lexi was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital where she sadly died a short time later, Liverpool Echo reports.
