A young couple was found dead in a flat hours after one of their mums said she was becoming worried about him.
Keiran Nelson, 23, and Tianna Charite, 22, were found dead in a flat in Fife, Scotland on Tuesday.
Police are currently treating the deaths as not suspicious. At this time, it is unclear if they both died at the same time.
Kieran's mum Wendy Nelson shared a desperate plea on Facebook on Tuesday morning saying she had not heard from him since May 4.
She wrote: "Has anyone heard from my Keiran as I’ve not heard from him since 4th May and I’m worried about him now I will have to report him as a missing person if I don’t hear from him today xx"
Yesterday, after learning her son was dead, she added: "Am so sorry I haven’t replied back to anyone I’m overwhelmed with everybody’s thoughts! I am so thankful to everyone that has messaged me! I’m doing ok! X"
The couple were said to have been found by Tianna's brother, Brandan after family members raised concerns that they hadn't been in contact, the Daily Record reports.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Mirror: "A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Tuesday, 16 May, we received a report of a concern for person at a property in Orchardgate, Cupar.
“Emergency services attended and the bodies of a 23-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were found within.
“The deaths are not thought to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
