3-year-old boy hurt in West Garfield Park drive-by shooting

A 3-year-old boy was shot on the side of his face Tuesday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, according to Chicago police.

A gunman pulled up in a white SUV and fired shots into a car occupied by the child and a woman, police said. The shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of West Congress Parkway.
