The screenshots were released as Owens pushed back against Loomer's recent claims about her relationship with Kirk. While the authenticity of the messages has not been independently verified, the exchange has quickly become one of the most discussed political stories online.

Candace Owens accuses Laura Loomer while releasing alleged Charlie Kirk messages

In a lengthy post, Owens claimed the screenshots dated back to 2019 and argued they contradicted Loomer's public statements about being close to Charlie Kirk.

Owens wrote:

"Those photos are NOT from 2019. These messages however, are. As I said, you are now CROSSING A LINE pretending you were Charlie’s friend or confidante ever. You constantly message people saying you were suicidal and consistently put pressure on everyone to invite you places or else you would take your life. This is how you weasel your way through politics.

I was one of the very few that was actually kind to you but like I said, you published my kids car and put their lives at risk so now you can meet the full brunt of my rage.

ALL OF US, tried to help you with your various mental disorders over the years. You targeted Charlie consistently bc he wanted NOTHING to do with you, ever."
