Rio Ferdinand had admitted he doesn't believe Liverpool are out of the race to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.
After Saturday's 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest, the Reds sit in seventh place and are nine point behind Manchester United in fourth and Newcastle in third.
With seven games remaining in the Premier League, the ex-United defender isn't ruling Jurgen Klopp's side out of snatching an unlikely top four finish come the end of the campaign.

Liverpool have the chance to make it three wins on the bounce when they take on West Ham United on Wednesday night in London.
Ferdinand told FIVE: "Nottingham Forest put them under it.
“But Liverpool got through with it by hook or by crook. They could sneak into the top four, you know Liverpool.”
