Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has accused Gary Neville of sitting on the fence in the Manchester United takeover debate.
In a recent clip from a live show version of The Overlap, Neville sat down with presenter Josh Denzel and fellow pundits Carragher and Roy Keane to discuss the topic of football ownership. During the conversation, the topic of Liverpool's and United's owners came up.
Setting his stall out, ex-Reds captain Neville said: "I do worry a little bit [actually], I don't worry about Liverpool at all, in fact, I don't give a s*** but I do care, obviously, about football club ownership and I do think Liverpool's owners have got a real problem as well."
Denzel then asked whether Neville would prefer Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani or Sir Jim Ratcliffe to take over. "Between the two bidders? Honestly, if either of them won, it wouldn't bother me," he responded.

"We can't control it, it wouldn't bother me." Not taking that as an answer, Carragher pressured Neville to choose a side.
"Pick one," the former centre-back said. Neville replied: "I can give you the strengths and weaknesses of both. So, Jim Ratcliffe..."
"No, no, no," Carragher interrupted. "I don't care about the strengths and weaknesses. Roy Keane said before what a good pundit was."
"Right, I will give you the strengths and weaknesses, I'll give you the arguments because there's a lot of things, it's a complex argument. So, Jim Ratcliffe..." Neville continued.
"You haven't got the bottle to say which one!" Carragher replied. "I'll tell you who I want," Neville replied, as the crowd laughed at the former Liverpool man's comments.
Neville has been strongly against the Glazers' ownership of United for many years and has recently been calling for the club to be sold. However, to this point, he has not revealed his stance on who he would prefer to take over.
This week, reports claimed Sheikh Jassim was on the verge of winning the race for United but sources close to his camp refuted those claims. Ratcliffe is believed to still be confident of securing a deal.
