Hulk Hogan's former Gulf-front mansion in Clearwater Beach drew attention after it was listed for nearly $11 million in January 2026, about six months after the wrestling legend died in July 2025. Hogan bought the property in 2012 for approximately $3.33 million, making its subsequent price history notable.
Located at 1040 Eldorado Avenue, the three-storey residence spans roughly 5,400 square feet and sits directly along the Gulf of Mexico. The home has five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a private elevator, heated swimming pool, spa and extensive outdoor living areas.
The property was initially listed for $10.989 million before its asking price was reduced as it remained on the market.
Hulk Hogan bought the Clearwater Beach mansion in 2012
Hogan purchased the Clearwater Beach home for about $3.33 million in 2012, shortly after selling a much larger residence in nearby Belleair.
His previous Belleair property reportedly covered around 12,000 square feet and was sold for approximately $6.2 million in April 2012. The Clearwater Beach purchase marked a move to a smaller residence, but one with a prime waterfront location.
The mansion sits directly on Clearwater Beach, with views of and access to the Gulf of Mexico. It subsequently became one of the Florida properties associated with Hogan's later years.
The three-storey mansion spans about 5,400 square feet
Built in 2009, the residence covers approximately 5,400 square feet over three floors. Its design combines Mediterranean and Italian-inspired elements with classical architectural details.
A grand double staircase forms part of the entrance, while large windows provide natural light and views towards the Gulf. The home has five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and a private elevator connecting the three levels.
The interiors feature marble and stone finishes, teak details and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is designed as a chef's kitchen, while the open spaces and extensive windows make the waterfront setting a prominent part of the home.
The primary bedroom alone measures around 1,000 square feet. It includes a sitting area, morning bar, spa-style bathroom and large walk-in wardrobe, along with access to a Gulf-facing terrace.
The property includes a pool, spa and beach access
The outdoor areas add significantly to the property's features. The residence has nearly 1,500 square feet of covered outdoor living space, offering several areas for spending time outside while providing protection from the Florida sun.
The property also has a heated swimming pool and spa. Its position directly on Clearwater Beach gives residents access to the beach as well as views of the Gulf.
The combination of waterfront location, outdoor amenities and a large three-storey residence contributed to its multimillion-dollar asking price.
Hogan bought the neighbouring property in 2016
Hogan expanded his Clearwater Beach holdings in 2016 by purchasing the property next door for approximately $1.6 million.
That separate residence reportedly measures around 2,062 square feet and has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is distinct from the main Gulf-front mansion that was listed for nearly $11 million.
The neighbouring property was also marketed separately, meaning the two residences should not be combined when considering the listing price of Hogan's former mansion.
The mansion was initially listed for $10.989 million
The main Clearwater Beach property entered the market for $10.989 million in January 2026.
Compared with Hogan's approximately $3.33 million purchase price in 2012, the initial asking price was about 3.3 times higher. The difference between the purchase price and asking price was roughly $7.66 million.
However, the figures do not represent a confirmed profit for Hogan's estate because $10.989 million was only the property's asking price, not its eventual sale price.
The final amount paid by a buyer could differ from the listing price.
Asking price later fell to about $7.9 million
The original asking price was subsequently reduced as the mansion remained on the market. It was cut by roughly $2 million to around $8.99 million.
By June 2026, reports indicated that the asking price had been reduced again to approximately $7.9 million.
Even at that level, the property was still being marketed at more than twice the amount Hogan paid for it in 2012. The successive reductions highlight the difference between an initial listing valuation and the price at which a property may eventually attract a buyer.
Hogan died at the Clearwater Beach home in July 2025
The listing also came several months after Hogan's death. The wrestling star died on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71.
He suffered cardiac arrest at his Clearwater Beach home. Emergency services responded to the property before Hogan was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His death came more than 13 years after he purchased the residence, making the subsequent listing notable because of the home's connection to his final years.
The mansion adds to Hogan's Florida real estate history
Hogan had a long association with Florida, both through his professional career and his personal life. His Clearwater Beach mansion was considerably smaller than the Belleair property he previously owned, but its Gulf-front location made it a significant luxury residence.
The property's real estate history spans more than a decade, from Hogan's approximately $3.33 million purchase in 2012 to its $10.989 million listing in January 2026 and subsequent reductions to about $8.99 million and then $7.9 million.
The mansion's waterfront setting, substantial living space and amenities are central to its value, while its connection to Hogan has added another layer of public interest to its journey through the Florida luxury property market.
