It's one of the most beloved cult movies of the '90s. Even better than that it was made right here in Wales.
And now Twin Town is returning to the big screen some 26 years later for a special one-off outdoor showing in Singleton Park in Swansea - the so-called "pretty s***** city" in which the infamous film was set.
Starring Rhys Ifans and his real life brother Llyr, it tells the story of the notorious Lewis twins as they run riot in the local community. Two adolescent tearaways, the plot sees them end up embarking on a tit-for-tat campaign of violence with a local business man after their father suffers an injury at work.
An outrageous, eminently quotable pitch-black comedy, Twin Town also stars a host of familiar faces - from Keith Allen, Di Botcher and Dougray Scott to late greats such as Brian Hibbard, Dorien Thomas and Huw Ceredig. Directed by Kevin Allen and released in 1997 it was initially hailed as being "as filthy as it is funny" and "Wales' answer to Trainspotting."
