Leeds bus users are delighted after after it was announced a bus service would be expanding its route to The White Rose Centre.
The service in question is the number 29 from Yorkshire Buses which will now travel all the way to the The White Rose Centre from Hunslet.
Yorkshire Buses posted the following statement on social media, it said: "From Monday July 24, 2023, we are making some changes to service 29, it will still continue to run hourly but will be extended at both ends of it's current route buses will now serve The White Rose Centre travelling direct from Hunslet along Dewsbury Road.

"Leaving The White Rose buses will serve Hunslet Shopping Centre and then along existing route via Leeds Dock, Leeds Bus Station City Centre, The Universities, Hyde Park the service will then continue to Headingley, West Park, Old Otley Road, Tinshill Lane, Horsforth Station and Horsforth.
"We also have something a little bit special on the first day!"
Poeple were delighted with the news and made their approval known on Yorkshire Buses Facebook post. Sky Moorehead said: "Not something we wanted, it’s something we needed.
"Genuinely wow! I never expected a move like this from a smaller travel group, but here we are. Seriously well done. That’s some great work there guys!!"
Ann Warrington said: "Thank you for this new route, it’s great that us non drivers can get out further afield."
Lisa Sullivan said: "Oh wow, that’s amazing. What a great bus."
