Chinese President Xi Jinping has become the subject of an unverified online health rumour claiming he suffered a stroke during the BRICS summit in India and was later taken to Beijing's 301 Hospital.

The allegation was circulated on X by Wanjun Xie, who claimed Xi fainted during the New Delhi summit before receiving emergency treatment from his travelling medical team. No official Chinese or Indian source has confirmed that Xi fainted, suffered a stroke, or was hospitalised.
