As Chinese President Xi Jinping lands in San Francisco to attend the APEC summit and meet with his US counterpart Joe Biden, we take a look at the economic relationship between the two countries. In spite of tensions leading to trade restrictions and counter-measures, the two nations' trade was still worth over $750 billion in 2022. Also in this edition, French unemployment is on the rise, and Siemens Energy posts an annual loss of €4.59 billion.
