An FC Barcelona legend claimed that nobody understands the club as well as its head coach Xavi Hernandez in an interview. Ivan Rakitic spent six years at Camp Nou from 2014 to 2020 and won the treble in his first season under skipper Xavi after joining from Sevilla.

Observing his ex-employers from afar in Saudi Arabia, Rakitic described Barca as 'unique' and 'special.' He emphasized the importance of footballing intelligence in understanding the club, stating that once grasped, there is no better place to enjoy it.
