About 200 Xalirium adult portable bed rails sold on Amazon have been recalled because users can become trapped in or beside the rail and suffocate, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Oct. 15. The rails violate the federal mandatory safety standard for adult portable bed rails.
No incidents or injuries have been reported. The rails were sold from February through August 2026 for about $60.
