Xabi Alonso issues Joao Pedro injury update after shock Chelsea blow for Tottenham clash

Xabi Alonso has issued an update on Joao Pedro’s condition after he was left out of the Chelsea squad to face Tottenham on Saturday.

The Brazilian striker was a shock absentee from the Chelsea squad at Stamford Bridge. He was pictured in training on Friday and Alonso made no mention of an injury at his pre-match press conference.
