It should be noted that McMahon no longer works directly for W.W.E. but serves as the chairman of the board for TKO, the company which owns W.W.E.
The allegations put forth by Grant also implicate others within W.W.E., suggesting that they were aware of the misconduct but failed to take appropriate action. W.W.E. conducted an investigation into these allegations and revealed that McMahon had made hush money payments totaling $12 million to women.
