NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Smriti Mandhana is optimistic about the team's improved balance after the acquisition of new players, aiming for a better performance in the upcoming second season of the Women's Premier League (WPL), starting on February 23.

In the inaugural season of 2023, RCB faced challenges, losing six out of eight matches and finishing fourth in the five-team competition. The second season is scheduled to take place in New Delhi and Bengaluru.
