An outbreak of "nose-bleed fever" has infected more than 120 people in Iraq as health authorities warn of an escalating spread.
The tick-borne virus, also known as Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, causes severe haemorrhaging in patients.
It has existed in the southern provinces of Iraq for a number of years with the country now recording 18 deaths since the beginning of 2022.
