O’Sullivan vs Trump live stream: How to watch World Snooker Championship Final for FREE today

Ronnie O’Sullivan holds a commanding lead over Judd Trump in the World Snooker Championship Final

Ronnie O’Sullivan retakes the table in the World Snooker Championship Final this afternoon boasting a commanding lead over Judd Trump.

‘The Rocket’ withstood a heated row with match referee Olivier Marteel in Sunday’s first session to open up a strong 12-5 advantage by close of play in the best-of-35 frame showpiece as he bids to pull level with Stephen Hendry with a record-tying seventh Crucible triumph in the modern era.

The great O’Sullivan already holds the record for the most ranking title triumphs in snooker history, with 38.

A second world title is at risk of swiftly slipping away for Trump, who is facing his “hero” having fought off Mark Williams’ comeback to win his semi-final 17-16 on Saturday.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to play Ronnie in the final,” he said. “Ronnie was a hero of mine growing up, and he’s already the best player that’s ever lived, but I think he wants to confirm it by winning a seventh title. He tries to play it down, but I think he’s more determined than ever.”

O’Sullivan, meanwhile, cruised past John Higgins 17-11 in his last-four contest. A £500,000 prize and the World No1 spot are also up for grabs in Sheffield.

Here are all the details for tuning in today...
