The head of the World Health Organization has warned Covid 'isn't finished' despite a drop in the rate of cases and deaths across the globe.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the WHO, is launching a new 23 billion dollar campaign to fund the agency's efforts to lead a roll-out of Covid-19 tests, treatments and vaccines around the world.
The agency also cautioned that “diseases know no borders” and the highly transmissible Omicron variant has shown that “any feeling of safety can change in a moment”.
