NEW DELHI: In a rare case of doping in shooting, Osijek World Championships-bound skeet shooter, Parampal Singh Guron, has failed the dope test for a diuretic and masking agent during an in-competition testing by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) at the recently-held shotgun selection trials in Jaipur, TOI has learnt.
The veteran Chandigarh-based marksman, who was part of the men's skeet team at the Lima and Lonato shotgun World Cups this year, has opted for provisional suspension voluntarily after waiving off his 'B' sample rights.
