Which is to say, we should probably expect stocks of metal detectors to run low in the coming days, because Gallagher has apparently outed himself as a keen detectorist. “I’m a big fan of the metal detector phenomenon,” he tweeted on Sunday, adding in a separate message that: “I do it for the buzz n the bing.”
