NEW DELHI: Veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik expressed confidence on Saturday that the 300-run mark will soon be surpassed in the IPL, emphasising the league's continually improving batting standards over its 17-year history.
Currently, Sunrisers Hyderabad's impressive total of 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) holds the record for the highest team score in IPL history. However, the elusive 300-run milestone has been achieved only once in the history of the tournament.
