A woman who believed that her rapid weight loss was due to stress was devastated after doctors revealed she was suffering from cancer.
Ann Coates, 48, from Devon, was initially praised by friends and asked 'the secret' behind her weight loss that had seen her drop from 134kg in January to 102kg when she was finally admitted to hospital in September. Believing the loss had been due to stress, she was shocked when doctors told her she was suffering from cancer in both her uterus and the back wall of her uterus
“At first everyone complimented me and told me to share my secret,” Ann told Manchester Evening News.
