Luz says on the social media clip she knew when she guesses when she first met him they would have a future together and it was clear he would be her husband.
She fell in love, not just with Juan, but the way he treated and cared for people despite living in desperate situation.
"It was love at first sight," Luz said of their first meeting.
“The first thing I saw was his way of treating people."
She says she was surprised about how the haircut transformed his appearance.
“[After cutting his hair] I was a bit surprised – it looked super good.
"Our relationship was good from the beginning and was what I was looking for. And with his super good family they tell me that they love me like their daughter and that's how they treat me.”
Juan now works as a bricklayer and fixes mobile phones in his spare time.
