Woman unable to have children after coil left inside her for almost 30 years

A woman was left unable to have children after her contraceptive coil was left inside her for nearly 30 years.

Jayne Huddleston, 63, from Crewe, was told by a GP in 1990 that the coil had fallen out and had another device fitted, reports the Hull Daily Mail. When she decided to try for children two years later it was taken out but the first one remained.
