Summer is fast approaching, which means lots of people might be looking to shed a few pounds ahead of fitting into beachwear. There are various diets on offer, but one man has been credited more than most for promoting healthy ways to slimdown.
Dr Michael Mosley invented the famous 5:2 diet, which sees people five out of seven days of the week eat routine food, but on the remaining two days, calories are restricted to around 500-600 per day. Now, in an updated version of the fasting diet, Fast 800, Mosley has come up with a plan that sees users eat 800 calories a day.
The simple concept intrigued Wales Online's health editor, Lydia Stephens, so she decided to give it a go for one week. Below is her account of what she ate and the results.
