Woman tells court why she took lambs from King’s Sandringham estate

An animal rights activist who took three lambs from King Charles’ Sandringham estate told a court she hoped to “open his eyes” to the reality of sheep farming.

Rosa Sharkey, 26, wore a pink Animal Rising T-shirt as she took the sheep from Appleton Farm in Norfolk together with fellow activists Sarah Foy, 26, and Rose Patterson, 37, in May 2023.
