A TikTok creator recently took to the platform with a less-than-glowing review of her visit to one of Austin’s best-known restaurants, The Oasis, claiming the venue failed on all three fronts.

It’s no easy feat maintaining a 4-plus-star rating on Google with more than 25,000 reviews, but that’s exactly what The Oasis has managed to do. Still, Mariana Yvette told her TikTok followers that her visit turned into “the most expensive night I’ve had in a while” — despite never ordering anything off the menu.
