Woman seriously injured after being hit by car in Bolton

A woman remains in hospital after being hit by a car in Bolton .

Police were called to Church Street in Horwich to reports of a fail-to-stop collision at around 9.10pm on Sunday (February 27).

The victim – a woman in her 60s – was rushed to hospital where she remains with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made but enquiries are ongoing, a spokesman for GMP said.

In a statement, the force said: “Police were called around 9.10pm on Sunday 27 February 2022 to a report of a fail to stop collision involving a pedestrian on Church Street, Horwich.

“The pedestrian - a woman in her 60's - was taken to hospital where she remains with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

“Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
